Get involved in promoting fair trade in Oxford and beyond…
Volunteer
The Coalition offers many opportunities for volunteering, whether you’re someone who wants experience in a particular area or someone with a wealth of experience to offer. Whether you’re interested in organising events, giving talks, posting on social media, writing newsletters or contributing to our steering group, we’d love to hear from you. Email chairoftc@gmail.com to find out more.
Promote Fairtrade in your local group
Use Fairtrade and WFTO products and raise awareness of fair trade amongst your members. If you are a school, college, or place of worship, there are resources from the Fairtrade Foundation that can give you ideas – and your group can even qualify for Fairtrade status. You and your group would also be welcome to join the coalition as members: there’s no joining fee, and it means you get the inside scoop on what’s coming up.
Promote Fair Trade as a business
Whatever your price point, you can stock Fairtrade and Fair Trade products. If you are a cafe or restaurant, the Fairtrade Foundation has a full package of resources. If you’re a retail outlet, they have materials for you, too.
And if you’ve made a Fair Trade commitment, why not join the coalition?
Let us know what you’re doing
We would love to hear about anything you are already doing, and to provide you with support to promote fair trade in Oxford – to make a real difference to producers across the world.
Keep in touch by subscribing to our email, using the form to the right.
